international trade, and world population.The G20 consists of 19 countries and
the European Union.The forum was established in 1999 as a platform for finance
ministers and central bank governors.In 2008, the G20 was elevated to the
leaders’ level.Atlanta is the capital of the state of Georgia and a major city
in the southeastern United States.Atlanta is a major hub for international
institutions, transportation networks, and business headquarters.The city has
previously hosted several international meetings and diplomatic events.Georgia
is one of the 50 states of the United States.The Foreign Ministers’ Meeting
will take place before the broader G20 Leaders’ Summit scheduled for 14–15
December 2026.Donald Trump will host the G20 Leaders’ Summit at Trump National
Doral.The December 2026 summit will coincide with the 250th anniversary of the
United States.The 250th anniversary of the United States is counted from the
year 1776.
