¨     The wildlife conservation initiative Vantara has announced the establishment of ‘Vantara University’ in Jamnagar, Gujarat, which will be the world's first integrated global university dedicated to wildlife conservation and veterinary sciences.

¨     This university is being established by the wildlife conservation organization Vantara, which was founded by Anant Ambani (Executive Director, Reliance Industries).
¨     The institution will be established in Jamnagar, Gujarat, where Vantara’s wildlife conservation and rehabilitation infrastructure is located.
¨     It is envisioned as the world's first integrated global university focused on wildlife conservation, veterinary sciences, and animal welfare.
¨     The university will offer courses in fields such as wildlife medicine and surgery, conservation science, genetics, epidemiology, behavioral science, and conservation policy.
¨     The objective of this initiative is to train future veterinarians, conservation scientists, and wildlife professionals, thereby positioning India as a global hub for wildlife and veterinary education.
