¨     The winners of the 53rd International Emmy Awards announced in New York on 24 November.

¨     The annual awards, presented by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (IATAS), recognize the best in international television programming.

¨     The annual ceremony, hosted by Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, honoured global excellence in 16 television categories.

¨     It was noted that Indian film Amar Singh Chamkila received two nominations but did not secure any wins.

¨     Two Gaza-related documentaries won in non-fiction sections, marking a first for the International Emmys.

¨     Actor Diljit Dosanjh lost the Best Actor award to Oriol Pla for the Spanish production Yo, Adicto.
