Dabur has appointed Harjit S. Bhalla as the Chief Executive Officer

¨  Dabur has appointed Harjit S. Bhalla as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its India business, effective April 23, 2026.

¨   The appointment was announced through a regulatory filing, marking a significant step to strengthen the company’s domestic operations.

¨    He will report directly to Mohit Malhotra, who serves as Whole-time Director and Global CEO of Dabur.

¨    His appointment comes at a time when India’s FMCG sector is rapidly evolving due to changing consumer preferences, digital expansion, and growth in rural markets.

¨    As CEO of the India business, he will lead Dabur’s domestic growth strategy and work on strengthening the company’s market position.

¨ He will also oversee brand expansion, sales, marketing, and overall operational performance.

¨   His extensive global experience is expected to bring fresh strategic insights and enhance Dabur’s competitiveness in the Indian market.

¨  Harjit S. Bhalla has over 25 years of international experience and has held leadership roles across top global companies.

¨     He began his career in 2000 with Unilever, where he worked for 16 years.

¨    During his tenure at Unilever, he handled multiple roles in sales and marketing, including serving as Marketing Director in Moscow (2009–2012).

¨     In 2016–17, he joined Metro Cash & Carry as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and was also a member of the Executive Board.

¨   During this period, he gained valuable experience in the retail sector, which will support him in his new role.
