On 10 February, the

deposited in phased instalments linked to age and education milestones,
starting from birth and continuing through graduation or diploma-level studies.
¨
The accumulated amount
will be invested through structured financial instruments to ensure growth over
time.
¨
On maturity, the funds
will be transferred directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of beneficiaries.
¨
Eligibility is limited to
girls born in Delhi with family income not exceeding ₹1.20 lakh per year.
¨
Registration is permitted
at birth or at key stages such as school admission and higher education
enrolment.
¨ The scheme restricts benefits to two surviving girl children per family.
