¨     The award was presented by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP).

¨     DMRC received the honour for its AI-powered integrated mobility platform, the Sarthi App.

¨     DMRC is the statutory organisation responsible for operating the Delhi Metro network across the National Capital Region (NCR).

¨     It manages metro train operations, station management, fare collection, passenger services, and system maintenance.

¨     The Sarthi App is an AI-enabled integrated mobility platform developed by DMRC.

¨     It provides door-to-door journey planning by integrating first-mile and last-mile connectivity with metro services.

¨     The app offers real-time travel information, multimodal route planning, and seamless digital ticketing.

¨     It enables commuters to pay a single integrated fare for the entire journey across multiple modes of transport.

¨     The platform connects Delhi Metro with feeder buses, e-rickshaws, cabs, and other local transport services, ensuring a seamless multimodal travel experience.

¨     The award highlights DMRC’s leadership in adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve urban mobility, passenger convenience, and operational efficiency.
