launched “Project Zero” on 26 May 2026 as an anti-corruption initiative in
state administration.

The primary objective of
the initiative is to eliminate corruption at all levels of governance in the
state.

The programme focuses on
tackling bribery, cybercrime, and ensuring faster resolution of
corruption-related complaints.
¨
Complaint handling is
being strengthened through the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau.
¨
Project Zero emphasises
public participation and strict monitoring mechanisms to curb corruption.
¨
The initiative integrates
technology to detect, investigate, and speed up corruption cases.
¨
It also aims to update
and modernise the Vigilance Manual used for administrative vigilance
procedures.
¨
Citizens are encouraged
to report corruption directly to the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau.
¨
Confidentiality of
complainants and whistleblowers is ensured under the framework.
¨
The programme covers both
traditional bribery and digital bribery involving online platforms and
electronic systems.
¨ Technology is used to make investigations faster and more efficient.
¨ Project Zero strengthens transparent governance and administrative oversight across departments.
