¨     Government of Uttar Pradesh has launched a special campaign to create a 'Farmer Registry.'

¨     The objective of this initiative is to ensure transparency in delivering the benefits of government schemes to farmers. Additionally, it aims to further simplify farmers' access to various schemes.
¨     This campaign will continue until April 15, 2026.
¨     Special camps are being organized at Village Secretariats across the entire state. The purpose of these camps is to register farmers.
¨     So far, more than 1.72 crore farmers have joined this registry. This enrollment has taken place under the 'PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.'
¨     There are still many eligible farmers who have not yet been registered. The goal of this campaign is to include all the remaining farmers in this registry.
