More than 99% of the enumeration forms
distributed in Phase-2 of the Special Revision.
• The
Election Commission stated that over 99% enumeration forms have been
distributed since the launch of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Phase-2.
• It
was confirmed that more than 50 crore 50 lakh forms have already reached
electors during the ongoing exercise.
• This
phase of the electoral roll revision was commenced on 4th November across nine
States and three Union Territories and will end on December 4.
• The
involved regions include Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh,
Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Puducherry, Lakshadweep and
Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
• The
larger voter list revision will conclude with the publication of the final
voter list on February 7, 2026.
• Furthermore,
the Election Commission of India reported on November 24, 2025, that more than
47% of the counting forms distributed across 12 states and union territories
have been digitized.
• Goa
has the highest digitisation at 76.89%, followed by Rajasthan at 72.20%, while
Kerala and Uttar Pradesh have the lowest digitisation at 23% and 26.6%
respectively.
