appointment of Prabhjeet Singh as its Managing Director for India on 26 June
2026.

He will assume office in
September 2026 and will report to Kiran Mani, Managing Director for the Asia
Pacific region.

Prabhjeet Singh will be
OpenAI’s senior-most executive in India.
¨
His key responsibilities
will include consumer growth, enterprise adoption, strategic partnerships,
regulatory engagement, and overall operations.
¨
Before joining OpenAI,
Prabhjeet Singh served as President of Uber India and South Asia for nearly 11
years.
¨
He led Uber’s mobility
business across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
¨ OpenAI has identified India as its second-largest market after the United States.
¨ The company opened its first office in New Delhi in November 2025 and plans to establish additional offices in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
