¨     Oxford University has launched a touring exhibition across the UK to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the 'Shikshapatri'.

¨     This initiative is being led by Bodleian Libraries at the University of Oxford.

¨  The Shikshapatri is regarded as a rare and highly significant Hindu religious scripture.

¨  The term 'Shikshapatri' translates to 'Letter of Teachings'. It was authored by Sahajanand Swami in Vadtal, Gujarat, in 1826.

¨   This tour is being organized in collaboration with leaders of the Swaminarayan tradition.

¨  This manuscript will be displayed at prominent temples throughout the United Kingdom.

¨  The objective of this exhibition is to provide a large number of people with the opportunity to view this sacred document.

¨     This scripture focuses on ethical conduct and spiritual discipline.

¨     It comprises 212 verses composed in Sanskrit.

¨     These verses encapsulate the essential principles derived from Hindu scriptures.
