• ¨     The Government of India has expanded the RELIEF (Resilience & Logistics Intervention for Export Facilitation) scheme.
  •         The scheme aims to support exporters who are facing rising logistics and insurance costs. It was launched under the Export Promotion Mission. Egypt and Jordan have now been added to the list of eligible countries, extending broader support to Indian exporters operating in affected regions.

What is the RELIEF Scheme?

  • ¨     The RELIEF scheme was launched on March 19, 2026. It is a time-bound initiative designed to help exporters deal with disruptions caused by conflict and instability in the Gulf and West Asia regions.
  •          The scheme provides financial and logistical support throughout the export cycle, covering both past shipments and upcoming exports. It is implemented through the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC), which acts as the nodal agency.
