- The Tri-Service seminar
‘Ran Samwad’ is scheduled to be conducted on April 09-10, 2026 at the Air Force
Training Command in Bengaluru.
- The event has been
conceptualised as a structured platform for dialogue on evolving paradigms of
warfare.
- The theme “Multi Domain
Operations: An Imperative for Addressing Conventional and Irregular Threats” has
been adopted for this edition.
- Deliberations will be
focused on preparing India’s Defence Forces for conflicts spanning land, air,
sea, cyber, space, and cognitive domains.
- Key discussions will
include the evolution of multi-domain operations and global trends influencing
modern battlefields.
- The concept of a
Whole-of-Nation approach leveraging national resources for defence preparedness
will also be explored.
- \ Emphasis will be placed
on doctrinal adaptation, training, and re-imagining operational strategies for
effective command and control.
- The seminar will also provide insights into civil-military fusion within the framework of multi-domain operations.
- The initiative was
conceptualised by Anil Chauhan to promote strategic dialogue among defence
professionals.
