¨     Uttar Pradesh launched the Kaushal Setu and Kaushal Sarathi digital platforms on 15 July 2026 in Lucknow during the state-level celebration of World Youth Skills Day 2026 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.

¨     The platforms were inaugurated by Kapil Dev Aggarwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship.

¨     Kaushal Setu is a digital portal of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM).

¨     It is designed for online, paperless, and transparent registration and empanelment of training partners.

¨     The portal enables digital institutional onboarding as part of the state's skill development administration.

¨     Kaushal Sarathi is a digital platform that provides district-wise information on training centres, training courses, and training partners.

¨     It features a digital map to help youth locate skill training centres in their respective districts.

¨     The platform is integrated with the skill development ecosystem of Uttar Pradesh.

¨     UPSDM is the state agency responsible for skill training and employability initiatives in Uttar Pradesh.

¨     The new portals strengthen the state's vocational education and entrepreneurship framework.

¨     During the event, UPSDM signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with KLK Private Limited and Winsome Textile Industries Limited.

¨     The MoUs aim to provide training and placement opportunities in robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and textiles.

¨     World Youth Skills Day is observed every year on 15 July.

¨     Indira Gandhi Pratishthan is a major convention and conference venue in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

¨     A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is a formal agreement used for cooperation between institutions and companies.

¨     Government digital portals are widely used for registration, monitoring, and information access.
