  • ¨ India has strengthened its internal security and naval logistics through two major indigenous defence developments led by DRDO.
  •        The Ministry of Home Affairs received the AI-enabled satellite imaging system “Prajna.”
  •      The Indian Navy successfully completed trials of the Air Droppable Container (ADC-150).
  •     These systems aim to improve surveillance, emergency response, and operational efficiency.

Prajna System

  • ¨     Prajna was developed by DRDO and handed over to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
  •      It uses artificial intelligence for real-time decision-making in security operations.
  •      It was developed by DRDO’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR).
  •    It helps monitor sensitive areas, strengthen internal security, and support counter-terrorism efforts.

ADC-150 System

  • ¨    DRDO and the Indian Navy conducted four successful in-flight trials of ADC-150.
  •         The trials were carried out from a P-8I aircraft off the coast of Goa.
  •     They took place between 21 February and 1 March 2026.
  •     ADC-150 can deliver payloads of up to 150 kg.

  •   It helps supply critical items, medical supplies, and equipment to naval ships during emergencies.
