The expedition began on
11 September 2025.

The vessel is crewed by
10 women officers from the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

The 50-foot yacht was
built in Puducherry.
¨
The expedition is
expected to conclude in June 2026.

The voyage is named
Samudra Pradakshina.

The journey started from
Mumbai.

By 8 May 2026, the crew
had covered more than 23,000 nautical miles.

During the
circumnavigation, the team stopped in Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and
Cape Town.

IASV Triveni is a 50-foot
sailing yacht used by the Indian Armed Forces.

The expedition is being
undertaken by an all-women tri-service crew.

Expedition Leader.

During the expedition,
the crew is scheduled to cross the equator twice.
¨ The voyage also includes rounding three major capes.
