¨     Indian Army Sailing Vessel Triveni is sailing from Cape Town to Mumbai after a global circumnavigation mission.

¨     The expedition began on 11 September 2025.

¨     The vessel is crewed by 10 women officers from the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

¨     The 50-foot yacht was built in Puducherry.

¨     The expedition is expected to conclude in June 2026.

¨     The voyage is named Samudra Pradakshina.

¨     The journey started from Mumbai.

¨     By 8 May 2026, the crew had covered more than 23,000 nautical miles.

¨     During the circumnavigation, the team stopped in Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and Cape Town.

¨     IASV Triveni is a 50-foot sailing yacht used by the Indian Armed Forces.

¨     The expedition is being undertaken by an all-women tri-service crew.

¨     Anuja Varudkar is the Expedition Leader.

¨     Shraddha P Raju serves as the Deputy Expedition Leader.

¨     During the expedition, the crew is scheduled to cross the equator twice.

¨     The voyage also includes rounding three major capes.

¨     These capes are Cape Leeuwin, Cape Horn and the Cape of Good Hope.
