¨     A total of 3,635 Gram Panchayats emerged as ‘Front Runners’.

¨     Achieved a record 97.3% participation from across the country.

¨     ‘India PAI 2.0’ serves as a comprehensive performance report card.

¨     It evaluates grassroots-level development outcomes.

What is the Panchayat Advancement Index (PAI)?

¨ The Panchayat Advancement Index is India's first nationwide, data-based framework designed to evaluate the performance of the country's Gram Panchayats.

It assesses Panchayats based on the following parameters

¨     150 indicators

¨     230 data points

9 key themes, including poverty, health, water, infrastructure, governance, and women's empowerment.
