¨     The 20-year-old Grandmaster secured the title in Oslo by defeating Germany’s Vincent Keymer in the final round.

¨     He finished the tournament with a total of 18 points, topping the standings.

¨     Norway Chess is an elite classical chess tournament held annually in Oslo, Norway.

¨     The 2026 edition of Norway Chess was held from 25 May to 5 June.

¨     The tournament featured top players including Magnus Carlsen, D Gukesh, Alireza Firouzja, Wesley So, and Vincent Keymer.
