Squadron Leader Sanya was commissioned into the Indian
Air Force on June 20, 2015, through the 42 SSC (W) FP Course.She was promoted
to the rank of Flight Lieutenant in 2017.In 2021, she was promoted to the rank
of Squadron Leader.In the Indian Air Force, female officers serve across
various domains, including aircraft operations, logistics, administration, and
technical branches.The Indian Armed Forces have inducted women into numerous
roles related to combat support and training.
