¨     India-AI Impact Summit 2026 is being attending by World Leaders in New Delhi.

¨     The India-AI Impact Summit 2026 is being hosted in New Delhi from 16 to 20 February as a major global technology event.
¨     The five-day summit will be the first global AI summit to be organised in the Global South.
¨     Participation of world leaders from about 20 countries has been confirmed for the event.
¨     The focus of India-AI Impact Summit 2026 held in India will be “AI for All” (Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya).
¨     India AI Impact Summit 2026 is expected to witness the presence of 37 top CEOs at Bharat Mandapam, including Google’s Sundar Pichai, OpenAI’s Sam Altman, Nvidia’s Jensen Huang, and Mukesh Ambani.
¨     Meanwhile, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, in collaboration with Intel India, will launch a nationwide digital campaign tomorrow to promote ethical, inclusive and responsible AI usage.
¨     In a statement, the Ministry said that the initiative will attempt to win an official Guinness World Records title for receiving the highest number of pledges for an AI Responsibility Campaign within 24 hours.
¨     It also stated that under the India AI Mission, the campaign aims to strengthen India’s commitment to building a trusted and human-centric AI ecosystem.
¨     The initiative will include scenario-based questions to encourage participants to reflect on responsible AI practices before taking a formal pledge. Upon completion, participants will receive a digital honorary badge jointly issued by India AI and Intel India, along with access to AI learning pathways curated by the government.
Announcement of winners of Global Impact Challenge – AI for ALL, AI by HER, and YUVAi
¨     Ahead of the summit, finalists of three flagship Global Impact Challenges – AI for ALL, AI by HER, and YUVAi – were announced. The five-day summit is based on three themes—People, Planet and Progress—and will be held at multiple venues in the national capital, including Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan.
¨     The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said that these challenges were launched to promote the adoption of innovative and impactful AI solutions aligned with global priorities.
¨     It stated that more than 4,650 applications were received from over 60 countries, reflecting strong international participation.
Major AI Summits of the World
¨     The world’s first AI Safety Summit (2023): Held in November 2023 at Bletchley Park in the UK, this special event focused on risks and safety of frontier AI, resulting in the “Bletchley Declaration.”
¨     The first AI Action Summit (2025): Held in February 2025 in Paris, France, it focused on innovation and economic opportunities.
