Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bilateral Meetings at G7 Summit in Evian

¨  Prime Minister Narendra Modi held bilateral meetings with the leaders of Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 16 June 2026 in Evian, France, on the sidelines of the G7 Summit.

¨     The discussions covered trade, energy, innovation, education, people-to-people exchanges, economic cooperation, and regional security.

¨     Prime Minister Modi met Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to discuss trade, energy, innovation, education, and people-to-people ties.

¨     The meeting reaffirmed the importance of strengthening India–Canada bilateral relations.

¨     Prime Minister Modi also met UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

¨     The two leaders reviewed India–UK bilateral relations and discussed cooperation related to the previously signed trade agreement.

¨  Prime Minister Modi held talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

¨     The meeting focused on the India–UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

¨     Both leaders also discussed peace, security, and stability in West Asia.

¨ The bilateral meetings highlighted India's commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships, economic cooperation, and regional stability with key global partners.
