detailed and data-driven assessment utilizing 142 national indicators linked to
the 23 biodiversity targets.

This report aligns with
India's Biodiversity Plan for 2024–2030 and the Kunming-Montreal Global
Biodiversity Framework.

All 23 biodiversity
targets are progressing in the right direction. The report emphasizes a
'whole-of-government' approach and 'whole-of-society' participation.
¨ This report reflects the progress achieved in the field of conservation and also highlights the successes attained in restoration efforts.
